Role Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Housekeeping Attendant to join our team and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.

As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will play an important role in supporting the comfort, dignity, and wellbeing of our residents by ensuring all areas of the home are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean residents’ bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas to a high standard.

• Dust, vacuum, polish furniture, and ensure rooms are tidy and presentable.

• Clean and disinfect toilets, bathrooms, floors, and surfaces.

• Empty waste bins and dispose of waste appropriately.

• Assist with carpet and chair cleaning when required.

• Maintain cleanliness in offices and staff areas.

• Follow COSHH regulations when using cleaning products and chemicals.

• Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times.

• Report any hazards, faults, or maintenance issues to the appropriate person.

• Follow infection prevention and control procedures.

• Maintain residents’ privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.
