  • “Gable Court was the only nursing home that would accept my father due to his complex needs assessment. We were extremely grateful that they were able to put 1:1 24-hour care in place. Management and staff were accommodating and helped to ease some of our concerns. My father had very good 1:1 care and the staff worked extremely hard. He was treated with respect despite some challenging behaviours. The staff and management were fully supportive to us as a family in distress which we appreciated so much.”

    -Resident’s family member

  • “Nursing care team are proactive in the management of relative healthcare needs. Care staff are polite and sympathetic to my aunt’s needs and management staff are very facilitative with health care provider interactions. During recent periods of hospitalisation the nursing staff have been actively engaged regarding admission discharge and have kept us as relatives fully informed which was highly appreciated. Visitor support at weekends could be improved, when staffing levels are lower, it can be challenging to find assistance eg to answer the door, answer questions, get access to additional seating. However support for the residents is still strong.”

  • “Just wanted to express my thanks to all the staff who made Mum’s birthday yesterday really special. They decorated her room beautifully, brought in a lovely huge cake, put a birthday crown on Mum and sang Happy Birthday. They absolutely 100% went above and beyond. Mum absolutely loved it and I got some great photos and videos… A great big thank you to all the staff here. Mum is well looked after here and also had a fabulous birthday.”

  • “A well-staffed, clean, well-maintained care home. My mother has thrived with good care and food. Her room is light and airy. There is a nurse on duty 24 hours. The staff are very caring and friendly. The chef cooks excellent, nutritious meals. The receptionist is very welcoming and helpful. I am very happy with the care my nearly 99-year-old mother gets at Plane Tree Court.”
