  • “Having my father in residence at Hayes Cottage since January 2024, can I please be allowed to say, that since his admission, my father’s quality of life has improved beyond my wildest expectations. The home is run wonderfully, Alexandra and you are always across any issues that may arise, and they are great at keeping families in the loop. As for the accommodation, the rooms are kept clean and tidy, making them a pleasant place for any guest safe and happy. Every suite has a head nurse working 24 hours if the day, so the peace of mind can’t be underestimated. So, in reflection, Hayes Cottage is a brilliantly well run home for the our loved ones, their care and friendly disposition makes visiting an absolute joy, and watching your loved ones flourish., you can not put a price on this. Thank you Alexandra and Monica, what you and your team have done for my family is amazing, thank you so much.”

  • “My mother was moved from Hospital to Hayes Cottage Hospital in her final days in Sept 2019. The support and care she and my family received from the moment we arrived was amazing - the staff running the palliative area, in particular, were patient, attentive and always had time for us as we tried to navigate the very worst of times.

  • “We have been extremely impressed and very happy with the care my aunt has received and is receiving, as well as with Hayes Cottage itself. The staff are always very happy and efficient and seem very dedicated. Whenever we turn up to visit my aunt we always find her to be very clean and comfortable andwell looked after. The home too is always very clean and fresh and well maintained. All the staff; management, nursing, admin, carers, etc. are always happy to speak with us if we need to ask anything. We would certainly recommend Hayes Cottage.”

  • "The lovely gardens to the rear of the hospital also gave us a much-needed escape from the intensity of those last days. For us to have had to remain in the noisy and cramped chaos of the hospital would have been very distressing, but the peaceful calm and care offered by the move to Hayes Cottage Hospital allowed our family the time, space and comfort to properly farewell my mother.”

    -Resident’s family member

  • “The teams care of my mum has been exemplary. Nothing has been too much trouble for them and they've been very supportive of the family as well.”
