Introduction
To extend our social impact beyond our care homes, we established the Serencroft Foundation - an independent charitable foundation dedicated to promoting health, wellbeing, and social inclusion. Through targeted support and meaningful partnerships, we aim to strengthen communities and help people thrive.

Serencroft is proud to be a certified B Corporation, reflecting our 30-year commitment as a family-owned care group to create a positive impact for people, communities, and the environment. This certification recognises our adherence to the highest standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency.
Our purpose goes beyond operating care homes. By embedding ESG principles into our strategy, we combine compassionate, person-centred care with healthcare innovation and workforce development. Wakadogo is a community-led initiative dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable children and families in Uganda. Through access to education, nutritious meals, healthcare support, and safe learning environments, Wakadogo helps create sustainable opportunities for young people to thrive. By investing in grassroots programmes and empowering local leadership, Wakadogo addresses both immediate needs and long-term development - ensuring children are supported not only for today, but for a brighter future.
Child Bereavement UK
Child Bereavement UK supports families, children and young people who are grieving the death of someone important to them, providing specialist training to professionals who work with bereaved families. Their work ensures that no child has to face loss without skilled, compassionate support.
