Role Overview:

To assist and support the trained Nurse with assigned tasks in respect of resident’s personal care, under the supervision of the Registered Nurse at all times in order to provide the highest standards of care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support residents with daily living activities including personal care, mobility, nutrition and overall wellbeing, while maintaining dignity, privacy and independence.

• Follow individual care plans and report changes, incidents, complaints or concerns promptly to the Nurse in Charge.

• Escort residents to medical appointments and social outings, ensuring high standards of care at all times.

• Maintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality, safety protocols, infection control and company policies (including COSHH and Health & Safety regulations).

• Contribute to a clean, safe and comfortable environment, assisting with housekeeping and laundry duties when required.

• Participate in training, act as a key worker and work collaboratively with the care team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
